Ok…
kasabwat man ang driver or not eh “it is out of the question muna.” binabaling lang nila ang attention sa tunay na usapin.

Most probably naman eh hindi sya kasabwat kasi sa tindi ng pinapakita nyang trauma…. talagang he is in real shock.

Therapy Sessions

I feel sorry for the bus driver. Napaka-traumatic ng naranasan nya at kung hindi gaanong strong ang psychological foundations nya, this incident could hunt him for the rest of his life if not provided proper psychological assistance.

~~~ Had you been given a choice, would you have chosen to be born Filipino?...
Hostages killer.....
the cops.
Big Chaos!
For the escaping driver/victim.
It’s a standard procedure to DETAIN anyone who comes out in the area where the hostage situation is taking place for two reasons:
#1. to ensure the escaping individual is not working
with the suspect(s)
#2. to gather information (how many suspects?, types and
how many weapons the suspect(s) have, what is the
suspect(s) doing inside the bus – wiring the bus for
bombs? etc. Detain is different from arrest. Don’t take it personal.
The discrepancy was --- a man in a civilian clothes with a white bandana wrapped around his head (look like RAMBO) took the escaping driver by his neck, followed by many -- media, other plain clothes peace officers, bystanders, cigarette vendors, street sweepers, who knows who else.
What should happened is ---
1- ONLY ONE UNIFORMED PEACE OFFICER will make the
contact with the escaping driver(Contact and Cover)
2- Order the driver in the DAPA position -- facing ground
3- Search for contraband/weapon, secure and handcuff
from behind
4- Collect intell
The rest of the PNP’s gun-slinging cowboys will act only as covers and crowd control. “If this escaping driver had a bomb and exploded killing everyone within 50 feet, what do you think will happened next?
The other big issue is – was there a Chief Negotiator? There is a man wearing an orange shirt with no identification, another man wearing a white polo shirt and a man wearing a short pant (suspect's brother) talking with the suspect.
Who is in-charged? What if the suspect starts shooting anyone who comes near the bus? – then you’ll have 3 dead dumb fucks instead of 1 from the Philippines finest. Just my 2 cents.
Lesson learned? Yes. Room for improvement?
Absolutely.
Stay Safe!
Police trigger happy again?
There had already been a lot of instances where police had been so trigger happy in dealing with criminals. The government should institute a change in this deplorable police culture.
The Filipino people should
The Filipino people should ask for an immediate inquiry into police action, as it appeared from the video footage of the stand-off that the police handled the situation recklessly and without any regard for innocent human lives.
