Yolanda death toll rises to 5,632
The death toll due to super typhoon Yolanda now stands at 5,632 while 1,759 remain missing.
In its report, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management council says the number of injured is 26,136, while almost 11 million persons were affected by the typhoon in 44 provinces across parts of Luzon, the Visayas and parts of Mindanao.
Damage to infrastructure is P15.6 billion, while crop damage is pegged at almost P15 billion.
Earlier President Aquino said he wants to prioritize 171 municipalities in 14 provinces, for rehabilitation. – ANC World Tonight, November 30, 2013
