China daily calls PH a troublemaker
The China Daily newspaper called the Philippines a "troublemaker" in the region for allegedly raising tensions over disputed territories in the South China Sea.
"Ever since the Philippines unilaterally raised tensions over its disputes with China in the South China Sea in April, the country has dutifully played the role of a troublemaker in the region," it said.
It added: "It has played one trick after another seeking confrontation with China."
The state-owned newspaper critized Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario for telling the Financial Times that the Philippines would welcome Japan's constitutional changes for a more actived Armed Forces so it can provide a counter-balance to China.
