Black Nazarene's carriage to use forklift tires
Organizers of this year's Feast of the Black Nazarene have opted to use forklift tires for the carriage that will transport the image during its procession.
Last year, it took some 22 hours - one of the longest in the procession's history - before the image of the Black Nazarene arrived back from Quirino Grandstand to its home at the Minor Basilica in Quiapo.
The delay occurred after one of the tires of the carriage, also called "andas", burst.
