MANILA, Philippines - Devotees have begun flocking to Quiapo Church to join the procession of replicas of the Black Nazarene this afternoon.

The procession is a prelude to the grand traslacion procession on Wednesday, January 9.

Authorities have stepped up security in and around the Quiapo Church.

Authorities say around 6 to 8 million devotees are expected to attend this year's feast of the Black Nazarene.
