LPG explodes in Manila; 13 hurt
At least 12 people were injured after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded in Sta. Mesa, Manila on Wednesday evening.
Initial investigation revealed a leaking LPG tank exploded at the first floor of a three-storey house along Mangga Street, in Barangay 600, Zone 57, Sta. Mesa district.
The explosion was so strong that even people staying at the second and third floors were injured.
A portion of the third floor also collapsed, sending those staying in it to the lower floors.
The victims sustained bruises and burn injuries. They were sent to Unciano Hospital, Sta. Ana Hospital, and Philippine General Hospital.
