A man was shot dead and then robbed of his motorcycle in Caloocan City Monday night.

Victim Jefferson Cliopaz was shot multiple times by two men onboard a single motorcycle in Barangay 161. He was also riding a motorcycle when he was ambushed.

Five empty slugs from a 45-caliber pistol was recovered at the crime scene.

One of the unidentified suspects took off with Cliopaz’s motorcycle.

Police have yet to determine whether Cliopaz’s killing was due to robbery. – Umagang Kay Ganda, April 17 2012
