Nakakasiguro ba ang PNP na ang susunod na hostage crisis ay mangyayari sa Tourist Bus o kaya ay sa Boracay kung saan nagpapasarap ang mga bisita natin mula HongKong?

Ilang pulis ang itatalaga sa kanilang kaligtasan, isang pulis bawa't tourist o isang pulis bawa't bus?

Ilang libong turista ba ang bumibisita sa Pilipinas, magagawa ba nilang protektahan silang lahat?

LUMALABAS NA HINDI LANG KULANG SA TRAINING AT EQUIPMENT ITONG PNP, MALAKI RIN ANG PAGKUKULANG NILA SA UTAK.

ba't mga tourist lang? dapat lahat...

those hongkong tourist where just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could have easily been a passenger bus full of commuters or students in a field trip... Is this the best the police could come up with....

What if a bus full of high school students gets hi-jacked tomorrow, would the f*cktards even respond or what?

Kung mga Filipino kaya ang namatay doon sa bus? anu kaya?

I hesitate to say that those Hongkong tourists were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Since they are guests, the host country has the responsibility to secure their safety and well-being at all times, everywhere they go. Hindi lang sila cargo ng police, cargo sila ng sambayanan kasi bisita natin sila.

I agree na dapat hindi lang turista ang i-secure, dapat lahat. Kaya lang, kung ordinaryong mamamayan eh hindi kayang protektahan ng pulis patola natin, mga foreigners pa kaya? Makikita mo naman dun pa lang sa pag-hitch ni Mendoza sa bus eh; ugali ng mga pulis yan na gamitin ang uniporme nila para makalibre, lalo na sa pamasahe. Syempre yung bus driver, kahit nakaramdam na ng kutob, hindi makapalag porke naka-uniporme yung sasakay. Pati sa mga passenger bus, alangang maningil yung konduktor pag nakita nilang unipormadong pulis yung nakasakay. Dapat talaga i-abolish na ang PNP, palitan ng mas mapagkakatiwalaang civilian law enforcement entity. Institutional purging na ang kailangan.

This effort on the part of the Quezon City police might not guarantee safety but at least our law enforcement agency is trying to help protect tourists.

I know some of our citizens will object to this kind of "special treatment" extended to foreign visitors. We just need to understand that this gesture/effort by the police is to show that we do care about protecting the lives of visitors in our country.

Huwag naman sana natin ikagalit ang mga paraan na ginagawa nang gobierno para bumuti ang situasyon na ating bayan. Sa huli, tayong mga Pilipino ay mabibiyayaan rin sa mga ginagawa nang mga tuwid nating pinuno


How about adding CCTV

Installing CCTV (close circuit television) to areas frequented by tourist or any areas as needed. pero sympre meron na naman contra dito, but the benefit is enormous, for crime prevention, traffic control, etc.

Majority of our police forces are corrupt from the Generals down to private ranks. Public news can attest to that everyday we have different cases involving cops.

Tama ka bdjudge, why tourist only?? Minsa lang ako umuwi ng Pinas eh nadukutan pa ako sa Quiapo sa harap pa naman ng Simbahan! Bakit? eh di ka na makalakad sa siksikang mga illegal na sidewalk at streetvendors. Hangang ngayon ganon parin sigurado ang pag-tolerate ni Mayor Lim sa mga vendors na ito dahil nga malaki ang income niya dito. Panay ang Postal comment ko dito pero sigurado ako di parin nag-babago ang Quiapo at Divisoria puno parin ng sidewalk at streetvendors. Matigas talaga ang ulo ni Mayor Lim. Tama na ang pag-nanakaw mo Mayor Lim.Busog ka na naman noh!!! ano pa ang gusto mo eh di mo na kayang dahil yan sa hukay mo!!!Linisin mo ang mga public markets kamukha mo silang madumi at mabaho!!!

Tourist protection? pakitang tao nanaman yan. Believe me after how many weeks lay low ulit ang mga police sa protection na sinasabi nila. In the first place who deserves to be protected primarily in this country? ITS THE FILIPINO PEOPLE RIGHT? We have many crimes and our own filipino people are the victims just like the Maguindanao massacre which until now being delayed. No justice at all. Ano ginagawa ng mga officials natin sa family ng mga victims? Hey wake up !
