Police: Gunman's alleged aid tested positive for drugs
MANILA, Philippines – The alleged accomplice of the gunman who killed at least eight people in Kawit, Cavite last Friday tested positive for drugs, according to police.
John Paul Lopez, who allegedly helped Ronald Bae during his shooting spree in Brgy. Tabon in Kawit, Cavite, was almost in tears when he pleaded his innocence regarding the incident.
Lopez asserts he did what he did because he was threatened by the suspect.
Authorities say Lopez tested positive for drugs, although he denies this allegation. -- ANC, January 6, 2013
