Pacquiao, handang maging 'Bible ambassador'
Walang ibang pinagkakaalabahan ngayon si Congressman Manny Pacquiao kundi ang magbasa ng Bibliya na pinaghuhugutan niya ng lakas at pagbabago.
Kaya nang mahimok siya ng mga obispo na maging Bible ambassador, agad niya itong tinanggap.
“Gusto ko i-encourage ang lahat ng mga tao na magbasa ng Bible,” sabi ni Manny.
Todo suporta si Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao na kilalang Katoliko-sarado.
“Happy na akong nagbabasa siya ng Bible, basta hindi lang siya lilipat ng religion,” pahayag ni Mommy Dionisia.
Giit naman ni Pacquiao, mananatili siyang Katoliko.
“I am not changing my religion; I am still Christian Catholic,” pahayag ni Manny.
Matagal-tagal na ring hindi humaharap sa media si Mommy Dionisia dahil madalas sumasama ang pakiramdam nito.
Pero ngayon maayos na ang kalusugan ni Mommy D.
“Mga fans ko, ‘wag na kayong malungkot. Huwag kayong mag-alala sa akin, kasi ‘eto na, buhay pa ako,” sabi ni Mommy Dionisia.
Sa susunod na linggo naman iaanunsyo ang sunod na makakalaban ni People's Champ Manny Pacquiao.
Malaki raw ang tsansang si Timothy Bradley ang makakasagupa niya sa Hunyo matapos tumanggi si Floyd Mayweather Jr. sa 50-50 split sa kita.
“Kakausapin ko pa si Bob Arum kung ano ang mga napag-usapan. Suggestion is Bradley, pero wala pang final decision,“ sabi ni Manny.
Pero habang wala pa ang anunsyo at ensayo sa Bibliya muna nakatutok si Pacman. Jay Dayupay, Patrol ng Pilipino, General Santos City

Manny, I admire you as much as I enjoyed watching you. I don't see wrong thing on you being ambassador of it. To the catholic management, I think there is much more thing to do than using Manny to spread the word. Let not people come to realize the playing ground of politics world. I hope I am wrong about this.

to akingpamilya: Pax Christi, kapatid! Henry Newman who converted from Anglicanism to Catholicism once said "To become steeped in history is to ceased to be Protestant." Protestantism started with Luther in the 1500s. Jesus Christ did not write anything, neither did he ask his Apostles to write down anything. The first book of the New Testament, St. Paul's Epistle was written around 70 AD while the last book, Revelations by the last living Apostle, St. John was written at around 90 AD. The canon was officially fixed only during the Council of Trent. So before the Bible was written and before the canon was fixed who was the authority about Truth but the Apostles and the traditions taught by the Apostles. And who wrote the New Testament but Catholics. Who fixed the canon of Scriptures? The Catholic Church. Luther discarded the epistle by James as part of the canon because James wrote that "tThe foundation and pillar is the church." Not the Bible but the Church.
And how come there are 30,000 Protestant denominations all claiming to possess the truth? There are 30,000 versions of the truth?
teachings of love, respect and charity
it's not religion hopping. it's how you live your life and showing charity to others. that's where whoever it is in the heavens will judge you. even if you're part of the most successful religion or even a high priest of that religion but does not apply the teachings of love, respect and charity, then it's useless.
Christian Catholic?
Is there such a thing as Christian Catholic? Bakit sinabi ni Donya Dionesia na huwag lang lilipat ng relihiyon si Manny? Porke nagbabasa ng biblia eh ibang relihiyon na? Palibhasa kasi hindi bible ang basehan ng Katolika kundi tradition at mga aral ng tao. There's even debate whether or not Catholics are Christians. Today, Christians refer to Protestants who use the Bible as the basis of their faith. And does Manny understand what he's reading?
