Non-government organizations have launched an anti-vote buying campaign.

The "Make It Count" campaign aims to raise awareness among voters on the negative effects of vote buying to the society.

Among the provinces where vote buying is reportedly rampant are Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Isabela, and Laguna.- Top Story, ANC, February 13, 2013
