Kabang, a dog who lost half of her face after saving a 2-year-old from being hit by a motorcycle in Zamboanga City last January, is pregnant with 3 puppies.

Dr. Edgardo Unson, a veterinarian of Animal House, said the puppies inside Kabang’s womb are in pefect condition.

Several veterinarians are also working for the facial reconstruction of Kabang, which may be done in Manila or abroad. – Umagang Kay Ganda, April 3 2012
