The Sultanate of Sulu claims its followers have regrouped in Lahad Datu.
The Sultanate's spokesman, Abrahan Idjirani, also says the 135 fighters under Raja Muda Agbimuddin Kiram have been reinforced by around 100 supporters from Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
There have been no clashes so far in Sabah -- land the Kirams call their ancestral home.
