MANILA - Three foreigners and a tour guide were killed by falling rocks after Mayon Volcano spewed ash Tuesday morning, a tour guide said.
Volcano tour guide Kenneth Jesalva said he went up the volcano with seven others, including 5 foreigners, on Monday. He said they first heard the sound of rocks falling before a rain of huge rocks fell on them.
He said 3 foreigners and 1 tour guide were killed.
One of their companions is also in critical condition, he said.
Jesalva said he also dislocated his left shoulder while his left foot was wounded by burning rocks.
