MANILA, Philippines -- It has been more than a week since typhoon "Pablo" (international codename "Bopha") hit New Bataan in Compostela Valley. But as Jeff Canoy tells us, the number of casualties being recovered is still rising.
As of Wednesday, 296 bodies have been recovered and at least 580 are still reported missing.
The mayor of New Bataan said they are now worried that aid will only be coming in the next few weeks.
Residents said they will need relief goods for the next few months, considering that most areas in the town have been devastated by the typhoon.
