MANILA, Philippines – Talk ‘N Text took home its third straight PBA Philippine Cup title by finishing off Rain or Shine, 105-82, in Game Four of their best-of-seven series.

The 4-0 sweep also made Talk ‘N Text the first PBA team to win three straight All Filipino titles.

Rain or Shine simply had no answers for Talk ‘N Text’s balanced line-up, which handled the Elasto Painters well both on offense and defense.

Three Texters earned awards for their consistent performances: Jayson Castro was named Best Player of the Conference, Ranidel de Ocampo was chosen as Finals Most Valuable Player and Ali Peek was named Best Player of the Game. -- Dateline Philippines, ANC January 17, 2013
