Djokovic beats Ferrer to enter Australian Open finals

World number one Novak Djokovic advanced to the Australian Open men's final for the third straight time.

The defending champion had an easy run over Spain's David Ferrer, 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.

Djokovic will be up against the winner of today's semifinal match between Roger Federer and Andy Murray.

Defending champion Victoria Azarenka will face Li Na in the finals.

Li defeated title favorite and second seeded Maria Sharapova in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Azarenka also scored a straight sets win, 6-1, 6-4, over Sloane Stephens.

The top seeded Azarenka even had some knee problems during the match, but was still able to pull out the victory. – ANC Dateline Philippines, Jan. 25, 2013
