MANILA, Philippines – Rafael Nadal remains cautious on his return as he prepares for his long-awaited comeback from a knee surgery.
The Spaniard hopes the clay-court tournaments in Chile, Brazil and Mexico will help him ease back into tournament play.
Nadal kept expectations low since he has not played competitively since last year’s Wimbledon tournament due to tendonitis in his left knee.
His hopes of returning at the Australian Open were also dashed by a stomach virus. -- Mornings @ ANC, January 31, 2013
