MANILA, Philippines – Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winner against his old club, Manchester United, to give Real Madrid a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford and secure a place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

United drew first blood with a goal at the 48th minute, but it was a come-from-behind win for Real after a controversial red card for winger Nani rocked United early in the second half.
