MANILA, Philippines – A boxing analyst suggests that Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao should devote more time to his training rather to preaching and Bible studies.
Pacquiao is currently in Baguio City for the first phase of his training camp for his June 9 fight against undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr.
Boxing analyst Ronnie Nathanielsz said that Pacquiao’s current condition can still improve, and that the eight-division world champion needs to devote more time to his training.
“Past midnight na s’ya natutulog kasi ‘yung preaching n’ya late na natatapos, and there are a lot of people already involved,” Nathanielsz said.
But Pacquiao responded that he plans to put God first, while trainer Freddie Roach assured the boxer’s fans that Pacquiao is “doing great.” Mornings @ ANC, May 3, 2012.
