Heat 2 wins away from NBA championship
We begin with the NBA Finals where the Miami Heat are now two wins away from winning the championship.
LeBron James and company got off to another good start against the Oklahoma City Thunder, taking a 6-point lead at the end of the first quarter.
But the Thunder would gain ground in the second to cut the Miami lead to just one.
In the third, as 3-time scoring champion Kevin Durant would takeover, dropping 8 of his team-high 25 points in the quarter where OKC would take a 10-point lead.
The Heat fought back behind LeBron and Dwyane Wade closing the third with a 7-point spurt that allowed the home team to retake the lead.
In the fourth, it was simply too much of LeBron and Wade as the Heat duo relentlessly attacked the basket.
The final score was 91-85 as the Heat take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 affair.
LeBron finished with 29 points and 14 board, while Wade added 25 and 7 plus 7 assists.
