Djokovic ready for payback at US Open
MANILA, Philippines – Novak Djokovic, the No. 2 ranked tennis player in the world, said he is ready to play at the US Open after a disappointing London Olympics.
At the US flagship store of Japanese fashion label Uniqlo, the world No. 2 launched the latest line of tennis apparel for the brand, which was inspired by the Serbian flag.
Djokovic is the global brand ambassador for the Japanese fashion label.
Ahead of a news conference to launch the new tennis wear, the defending US Open champion spoke about his performance leading up to the Grand Slam event.
Djokovic lost to former US Open winner Juan Martin del Potro in the Olympic bronze medal match, and again, lost to Roger Federer who claimed his record fifth Cincinnati Masters title. -- Mornings @ ANC, August 23, 2012.
