MANILA, Philippines – Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian with 22 medals including 18 golds, joined Hollywood actor and comedian Bill Murray for a practice round ahead of the Dunhill Links Pro-Am golf event.
Phelps retired from swimming after the London Olympics last month and took up the game of golf in 2008 following his eight Olympic golds in the Beijing Games.
After his practice round, Phelps was pleased to have had the opportunity to play the old course.
Meanwhile, the 61-year-old Murray, who has played at the event before, is looking forward to playing in the unpredictable Scottish conditions. -- Mornings @ ANC, October 4, 2012
