MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Azkals defeated the Singapore Lions, 1-0, during their friendly game at the Cebu Sports Complex on Thursday.

Marwin Angeles scored the game’s lone goal for a 1-0 Azkals win over the Lions.

But it was Filipino goalie Eduard Sacapano's efforts that helped to keep the Singaporean scorers at bay.
