MANILA, Philippines – Former interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit was frustrated and disappointed following his unanimous decision loss to new undisputed champion Georges St-Pierre in the main event of UFC 154.
Condit was unable to prevent St-Pierre’s takedown attempts, and though he was able to put the champion in trouble in the third round, he could not finish the job.
Condit admitted that he expected to have more success against St-Pierre, but he fully expects to bounce back from what was the sixth loss of his career.
St-Pierre, who was fighting for the first time in over the year after recovering from a knee injury, hailed Condit after the match. -- Mornings @ ANC, November 19, 2012
