Kevin Love had 28 points and 11 boards, while frontcourt partner Nikola Pekovic added 24 and 10 as the Timberwolves defeated the NBA's best team 99-93.
The Thunder made one last charge at the Timberwolves' lead, but they fell short.
Kevin Durant led Oklahoma with 33 points while Russell Westbrook added 30 markers.
Despite the loss, Oklahoma still has the league's best record at 21-5.
