PARIS - More than a thousand fans gathered at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in Paris Sunday to dance Michael Jackson's celebrated moonwalk and pay tribute to the late pop icon.
Some carried banners with photos of the singer and messages such as "Michael forever in our hearts" or "The King" and many wore the star's trademark black hat as they met at the world's most visited tourist attraction.
The homage was organized on the social networking website Facebook.
Jackson died suddenly on Thursday at age 50 after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest.
